Meet the Team

Magnolia Speech and Literacy Specialists Co. was established in 2023 by Tammie Moffett and Elizabeth Price. Tammie and Elizabeth initially connected while working as educators in the Wardlaw School at the Atlanta Speech School. The pair expanded their practice to include other dedicated, experienced professionals in early 2025.

Co-owner Tammie Moffett, M.Ed.

Tammie is a certified literacy specialist who taught in the classroom for ten years. Most recently, she worked as a classroom teacher and reading specialist at The Atlanta Speech School. Tammie graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Special Education in 2014. She began working in the public school system immediately after graduation. Tammie graduated with a Master of Education in Reading Instruction from the University of West Georgia in 2020. She has received further training in Orton Gillingham, Wilson Reading System, Lindamood Bell Visualizing & Verbalizing, and more.

Co-owner Elizabeth Price, M.S., CCC-SLP

Elizabeth is a speech-language pathologist who specializes in school age speech and language disorders and their connection to literacy. She graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South in 2016 with a degree in Psychology and Education. Elizabeth earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Georgia State University. Upon graduation, Elizabeth began working within the Wardlaw School at the Atlanta Speech School. She has received further training in Lindamood Bell Visualizing & Verbalizing, Wilson Reading System, and Orton Gillingham.

Joanne Dunbar, M.Ed.

Joanne Dunbar is a reading specialist who has taught in the classroom for nearly ten years. She graduated from Kennesaw State University with an education degree in 2014 and went on to complete her Masters in Reading Instruction from the University of West Georgia in 2020. Joanne has taught reading and writing in the public school system as a special education teacher for over 6 years in multiple grade levels. She also taught at the Atlanta Speech School for three years. Joanne has received training in Wilson Reading System, Orton Gillingham, and most recently, UFLI Foundations.

Meghan Clark M.S., CCC-SLP

Meghan is a speech-language pathologist who has a passion for working with pediatrics. She graduated from The University of Tennessee Knoxville in 2016 with a degree in Audiology and Speech Pathology. Meghan earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of Mississippi, Ole Miss. She began working at a pediatric private practice clinic after graduation where she gained experience in early intervention, parent coaching, speech sound disorders, social-pragmatic disorders, autism spectrum disorder, fluency, and language disorders. Meghan has received training in Orton Gillingham.
