About Us
Magnolia Speech and Literacy Specialists was established in 2023 by Tammie Moffett and Elizabeth Price. Tammie and Elizabeth initially connected while working as educators in the Wardlaw School at the Atlanta Speech School. The pair is spreading their expertise of evidence-based instructional strategies on speech, language, and literacy to students across Atlanta.

A speech sound disorder occurs when a child has difficulty producing certain sounds. For example, if your child says “wat” instead of “rat,” they may have a speech sound disorder. There are a variety of classes of speech sound disorders, including articulation disorders, phonological disorders, and childhood apraxia of speech. Please reach out to schedule an evaluation if you suspect your child may have a speech sound disorder.

Our literacy services are appropriate for children ranging in age from PreK to 12th grade. We support children struggling with decoding, encoding, fluency, comprehension, and more.
